Dead fish/Delta video

Bummer all those fish dead you think they could have save at least 1/2 or more.... http://cbs13.com/local/delta.levee.dead.2.594116.html
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Meant to post this in the Delta.......my bad
TERRIBLE!!!!!! >:( >:( >:(
very terrible....
Yeah WTF?!?!?!?!?!?! They didn't even try to save those fish. That's just wrong. I would have gone down there and helped.
If I would have know I would have gone fish to save the fish.
That is just wrong what the hell is our fishing license delta stamp fund going to?
the Governator should be all over this kind of stupidty.............
we pay lots of money to the feds to protect the fishery!!
That is just wrong ,like yu said the anglers would help if they would let us know
when and what is going on...the only thing they let us know is the license are getting more expensive.......... :'( >:( >:( >:( >:( :'( :'( :'(
Huge debates, or discussions, about this have been happening on "the other board". Plenty of fishermen where ready to help, but it sounds like a "real" saving mission couldn't of happened with out the approval of govt. agencies. And without approval arrests and citations woulda been handed out for trespassing.

The whole thing is pretty crappy...I though the poachers with full coolers of fish, were bad.
This is what happens when you have non-fisherman type people running these types of projects. Any one of us on this board with an ounce of common sense would have asked, "What about the fish?"
Man WILL SOMEONE please point me in the DIRECTION of the person who was in CHARGE of this ACT......

I WILL PERSONALLY PUT A 45 cal to his HEAD...What a DUMB @$$ move for whoever decided that......WHAT A SHAME!!!!! :'( :'(
little late on that there jim :D Guess better late than never :P
a little late, but at least they're doing something...

Thats good news that someone is doing something. It seemed like a majority of the fish were carp. It looks like hardly any bass were dead.
thousands of dead stripers...
check out rescuethefish.org for pics of this travesty and info on helping out if you want. I got shitloads of school this weekend so it's a no go for me, otherwise I would be there.

those guys are kickin ass, God Bless them all
those dudes are sick! They saved over 1,600 stripers and tons of other fish.
ya, i remember fishing that island about a week before the pumping began. parked the boat and jumped onthe new levee they just put in. water was still creeping in and out with the tide....you should have seen all the fish on the other side trying to get out. ill have to say though, that was the best striper action i ever had. caught 50-75 up to 14 lbs in a hour or two. all on top water. i did my part though, everyone i caught went over to the other side.
