Have you guys seen this!!!

Smart phone fish finder.
That is very bad ass. I keep looking for a fg and how I want to mount in in my kayak. Don't want to drill holes and want it easily removable.
This is very nice.

$240 is a little steep since your using your device. It's jut the ball transducer and app basically. More companies will be putting theses out soon probably. Then prices will lower is my guess.
Still very cool
Cool idea, but $240 is steep! You can buy a pretty decent unit at that price. Well, I guess it might be more geared towards shore anglers.
There has been similar stuff on the market for years. Just didn't use your "smart" phone.

Only had to drill 2 small holes to mount 4" rail, then RAM ball slides on to hold FF. If I'm not mistaken, I saw Elite-4x going for $99 over the holidays.

That's funny.

Ya man this looks awesome.
I don't think that product has gone past the idea stage in Lithuania. However - this one seems to very close to fruition -

you're not actually fishing with the second rod so i dont think you need the stamp, but i really like this kinda idea.

especially cuz i'm looking at moving whatever i buy to multiple vessels.

true, but you are technically using it to "hunt" for fish.
Interesting thought...

Wonder what a warden would say.
From my experience, the info gained from even the best fish finder is open to interpretation, and takes an experienced eye. Buyer beware!
Would probably give you accurate depth readings though.

still $200+/- but at least there's competition in this market and so hopefully we'll see the prices drop.

i've also heard there's another one called luckylaker, but couldnt find much on it other than a few pics and them being available on alibaba (asia comparison to ebay)
