I wonder how many will buy this?

There used to be a line for ethical practices in fishing and i believe it just got crossed. Haha this is just going too far. As if the technology in sonar isn't enough.
no wonder kvd has been killin it, hes probably been "testing" that thing for years.
I believe that is crossing the line ,and from my understanding these kind of units are allowed in tourneys believe it or not
Pros have been using this for several years now. The Biosonix units have been on many of the pros boats for a while. KVD was part of Biosonix until he partnered up with Hydro Wave. Just different forms of what is essentially the same technology, granted with particular traits to each.

So if this crosses the line..what about a Rattle Trap? Or a spinnerbait? Or a crank bait with rattles? Or a chatterbait? My point is imitating the sounds baitfish give off is an old trick. If that was an ethical line then it was crossed with the first spinner jig or wooden plug really. Rudimentary ways of enticing bass, but the same concept when you boil it down. Just because you strap what is essentially a machine that amplifies sound on your boat does not mean the fish will eat. If the fish are inactive or not eating they aren't likely to suddenly break out of it and start feeding because they hear schooled up bait nearby. You will still have to get your bait if front of that fish's nose during a cold front or cold water, no matter how much baitfish sound you pump into the water.
Chummers!

High tech chum yes, but chumming nonetheless.

From the DFG General provisions & Definitions
1.32 Chumming
Placing any material in the water, other than on a hook while angling, for the purpose of attracting fish to a particular area in order that they may be taken.

"So if this crosses the line..what about a Rattle Trap? Or a spinnerbait? Or a crank bait with rattles? Or a chatterbait?"

These would all fall under the "lure" definition.
1.60. Lure.
A manufactured article or object equipped with one or more hooks designed to attract or catch fish.

+1 Mitch. The most defined clear cut response possible.
