IN THE WATER AT ANDERSON!?!?

MY BUDDY AND I WERE FISHING AND WE SPOTTED THIS IN THE WATER.... WE PICKED IT UP WITH A PADDLE AND TOOK HIM TO SHORE...

nah they taste too good, an they serve no purpose other than pissing me off, and i rather enjoy murdering them, like spiders, haha. jk...kinda.
Yes , that is a rattlesnake. Anderson has a ton of them . About six years ago , I was stepping from the dam to walk down and fish that corner spot with my son . There was a 4 foot rattlesanke coiled up right next to one of the wood posts that hold up the guard rail , missed me by about 1 foot , scared the piss out of me . Never expected one so close to the parking area. Did I kill it ???? Your dam right I did.
Wait til it starts getting warmer , that Lake has Rattlesnakes everywere. If you want to catch one , wait til winter , they hide under the best rockpiles around shore and don't move very fast when there cold .
That little one looked like it probably washed down from Coyote Creek.
Just a dangerous as a big one .
1 less rattlesnake isn't going to bother me in the least.
